		<description>So true, Lon!  Social media, content marketing and the like is really like a savings account more than an express train... You put in a consistent amount of time and you reap the benefits.  The key, is to identify the communities where you believe you have something to offer and then engage in the conversation remembering that integrity of voice is very important.</description>

		<description>Speaking as a guy who sees the business end of this a lot, the phenomenon you&#039;re describing is all over the place. There&#039;s definitely a lot of business decision-makers out there who hear about Twitter or whatever the current &quot;big thing&quot; is and ask their PR or marketing people to get them on Twitter ASAP. As you rightly point out, this is getting tactical before you have a strategy. Lots of good advice in this post.</description>
